Ritual With Purpose Seven
Savio House, Bollington, Macclesfield
- UK
With Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki
and Elizabeth Anderton Fox
Sponsored by Sirius
We have pleasure in presenting our seventh Workshop in the series. While maintaining the intention of 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 we will again be using mostly different rituals from those used in the previous workshops and hope to again expand on the intensity of the work.
We would stress that some experience of ritual work is required by those applying for this workshop. However attendance at any of the previous Ritual with Purpose workshops is not necessary in order to attend this one. If in doubt of your eligibility please contact Sirius. Places at Savio are limited to 32 so please book early to avoid disappointment.
The weekend will be comprised of intensive working of the rituals of the Servants of the Light School and of Sirius. We aim to focus the work towards those rituals that produce specific effects both in ourselves and in our environment. We aim to make your participation in these Rituals with Purpose a memorable and developmental experience.
Our theme this year will be INNER REALMS

Within the Temple of Apollo
Oxon Hoath Centre, Kent, UK
With Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki
and Andy Cooper
Apollo was the Greek god of music, poetry, healing, light and divination. He is a Sun God who presided over his temple and famous Oracle at Delphi. He also had dominion over plague, colonies, reason, dance, intellect, and herds of domesticated animals. Over the entrance to his temple at Delphi were the famed words “Know Thyself” and this workshop is about exactly that. It is about connecting with what “makes you tick” and about discovering your inner motivations through meditation, divination, oracular work and healing.
There will be rituals in the Greek tradition, lectures, practical sessions, vigils and optional temple sleeps.
You will learn to work with the Solar Fire in its five aspects: The fire of life, the fire of love, the fire of creation, the fire of knowledge and the fire of courage. You will also learn how to work with energy for healing, and there will be practical healing sessions as well as practical sessions for divination and prophecy.
LIVING “AS IF”
We have structured this workshop so that you will live and work as a member of the Priesthood of Apollo. We request that you take this very seriously, and behave as you would see fit for an initiated Priest or Priestess of the Mysteries.
Breakfast and lunch will be eaten in silence, during which a chosen priest or priestess will read from one of the sacred books.
We strongly believe that acting “as if” creates a different reality and enables us to really connect into the energy patterns and archetypes of the Greek tradition. White robes will be required for the workshop.

A Journey Through the Underworld
Lindenfels near Frankfurt am Main (Germany)
With Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki
Sponsored by Lodge Chayot ha-Qodesh
For centuries the Christian church has held the threat of Hell and Damnation over the heads of their followers. But what and where is this Hell? Does it in fact exist? What do the legends of The Fallen Ones actually tell us? Why does a God of Love feel so insecure that such a horrific punishment is used to keep humanity on His side?
In this workshop we look at the many and various ideas of the afterlife and in particular the subject of the Underworld and its Rulers. The legend of the Fall, the role of Lucifer, the Nephelim, and the older gods such as Ereshgigal, Pluto, the Celtic Pwyll and others.
The Psychopomps or Guides of the Dead also have their place here as they have done so throughout the history of humanity. The methods of conveyance to both the higher and lower worlds are a part of all this. The Boat of Millions of years
( intriguing when you take the tie to see it as a means of space travel over a period of light years…|) The Hennu boat that was used to take the Pharoah to his last resting place… a boat with wings!
All these objects, myths, and personalities are a part of the mystery of Death which is surely the greatest mystery of all. How we can help those we love to pass over in peace and without fear. How we can help those who have suffered a violent death. The death of a child and the passing of a beloved pet are all a part of this unusual workshop. The passing of an initiate, exorcism and the cleansing of a room or house in which violence has occurred will be discussed and advice and training given.
This is not a workshop for the novice, it requires some knowledge of the Inner Worlds on all levels. Pathworking include "The Passing of the King" and "The Passing of the Three Gates." There will be the usual Saturday evening ritual.
You will need a black robe, soft slippers, a small coin, a dark blue candle in a small holder, and a small piece of bone. (animal!)
"The underworld is not without light or love or laughter"
Do not miss this fascinating event…

The Egyptian Mysteries
Seelie Court, near Georgetown, DE
With Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki
Sponsored by the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel
No other civilization has captured the imagination
like that of ancient Egypt. Alexander, Ptolemy, Julius
Caesar, and Napoleon have all stood awed and mystified by
the grandeur of the Pyramids and the enigmatic face of the
Sphinx. The enduring calm of the Colossi as they gaze
unendingly out into the desert has stunned visitors into
silence for hundreds of years.
Why does this ancient land inspire such feeling? What
were they like, those people who raised one of the first
and arguably t he greatest civilization the world has ever
known out of a narrow strip of fertile land banded by
desert? Where did their knowledge come from? What were
their lives like? Why did their Gods take such strange
forms? Do those Gods still exist?
They were Masters of Magic, that we know, architects
of such skill that we still do not know their secrets.
Their priesthood had a training beyond anything before or>
since, and part still exists. In the great Temple in the
City of On, later to be called Heliopolis, and in the
Library of Alexandria some of the greatest men and women of
the ancient world were trained, Solon, Oannes, Plato,
Miletus, Hypatia, Basilides, and many others. This workshop
explore the lives, beliefs, and practices of this ancient
land with an emphasis on the religious and magical areas of
training. Subjects will include:
